Our application process
When someone takes the time to show an interest in working with us we take their candidate experience very seriously.
Are you wondering what the application process is like at Chip 1 and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.
Basically everything starts with a look at our career website. So you’ve already started. If you find a suitable position on our job board, You can apply within a few minutes via our online form. As soon as we received your application, a confirmation of receipt will be sent to you.
Our recruiting team will review your application documents and check your profile for the requirements of the position in close cooperation with the specialist department. You will receive feedback on the status of your application within two weeks at the latest.
If your application has convinced us, we will invite you to an initial interview with HR by phone or Teams, lasting a maximum of one hour.
If you are shortlisted after the initial interview and you have also gained a positive impression, you will be invited to a personal interview (approx. 1 – 1.5 hours) on site. Your future manager will take part in this interview as well.
Depending on the position, we will gain a full picture of your qualifications through job-related case studies. These case studies will give you an insight into the tasks and the demands they place on you.
We make an offer!
If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 5 days to review it.
With the contract offer the application process is almost finished. We have decided to get you on board. If you have also decided to become part of the Chip 1 team, sign the contract and send it back to us. This concludes the application process. Now we prepare everything for your onboarding process and look forward to welcoming you to Chip 1.
All in all, the application process takes about 2–4 weeks.
